Religions’ Educator is the Annual Journal of National Association for the Study of
Religions and Education (NASRED) floated by the Academic Association of
Lecturers from the Colleges of Education and Universities in Nigeria whose
disciplines are Islamic Studies, Arabic Studies, Christian Religious Studies, African
Traditional fields and Religious Education related courses.
Academic and well researched papers are welcome from Scholars, researchers
and others on religions and related fields and authors are to follow the guidelines
below.
1. Language: The language of the manuscript must be in English (British standard).
2. Length of paper: The length of the paper should not exceed 15 pages including
references. Articles should be typed in double spacing using Font size 12, Times
New Roman.
3. Title Page: Title page is separated before the text. It should include the
following information: Title, Author’s names and affiliations
Indicate the given name and family name clearly, authors' affiliation addresses.
Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name,
and, the e-mail address, and telephone number of each author.
4. For Correspondence purposes: Provide the Correspondence author’s details.
This is to include full names, telephone numbers (with country and area code) in
addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address.
5. Abstract: The abstract should not be more than 250 words and just in one
paragraph. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the
principal results and major conclusions. The abstract is presented separate from
the article, so it must be able to stand alone.
6. Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 5 keywords.
7. Subdivision of the article: Divide your article into clearly defined and
sequential sections. Subsections should be given sub-headings.
8. Table and Figures: Where tables and figures are used, present them at the end
of the article. Articles are published in black and white and so may not carry
colour inscriptions.
9. References: Author(s) should follow the latest edition of APA style in
referencing. Visit www.apastyle.org to learn more about APA style if you are in
doubt.
Citations in the text: Ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present
in the reference list (and vice versa). Avoid citation in the abstract. Unpublished
results and personal communications should not be in the reference list, but may
be mentioned in the text. Citation of a reference as 'in press' implies that the item
has been accepted for publication.
Reference List: References should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the
text.
